You would think that on a Snowdays trip it’s usually the coaches teaching the students stuff. Well, the rad part about riding with Hacienda this last weekend was the students had a lot to teach us.
Estefany gave us a lesson in perseverance as she hiked the hill all day learning how to J-turn. Scooby and Dylan reminded me what stoke looks like while they learned how to ollie and shredded around all day (they would have stayed all night if we let them).
I love leading Snowdays trips because these young rippers have an excellent ability to teach me how to appreciate being in the mountains, try my hardest, and have fun. Thanks Hacienda!
Also, when I asked them for names for their snowboards they gave me “turbo” and “long-board” which I thought was tight.
